People, Planet, Profit and Pig
In the project Pork Opportunities systems for a more sustainable pig husbandry are designed. These systems cover the needs of the animal, the environment, the farmer and the citizen-consumer. Stakeholders are actively involved to bring the concepts to practice.
'In Pork Opportunities we strive for a 4P-appreach. This means that we want to achieve a pig husbandry that is good for People, Planet, Profit and Pig. I am convinced that we will find way to bring animal welfare and economy in balance. This will be the foundation for a sustainable pig husbandry.'

Pork Opportunities started in January 2008. In the spring of 2010 we will deliver design-concepts, to inspire a sustainable development of the pig husbandry.
